Associate General Counsel
Duties: Will provide hands-on legal advice and perform a broad range of legal tasks, including providing overall legal advice relating to contracts, supplier negotiations, customer negotiations, strategies, and contract risk mitigation. Draft and negotiate commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, and service providers. Advise on contract enforcement, contract disputes, supplier quality matters, contract terminations and transitions, and distressed supplier issues. Identify and advise on legal and business risk associated with business opportunities, including compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Support merger and acquisition activities, litigation and compliance matters. Provide training to purchasing, sales and marketing teams on a variety of legal topics. Assist with employment and environmental, health and safety matters. Support corporate governance activities.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
