Overall Purpose of the Job:
Web software development within the Microsoft .NET Framework. Analysis, coding, testing, and maintenance of applications using C#.NET and other technologies as required
Scope of the Position:
Develop/maintain centralized web applications to support Business Unit/Corporate business requirements.
Main Responsibilites:
Develop web applications utilizing multiple technologies including C#.NET
Migrate legacy web applications to new standards
Work with Business Application Lead on design and analysis of software, including supporting documentation
Perform testing on developed applications
As required, work with user community during development and testing phases
Adhere to internal software development standards and change management procedures
Technical Skills:
Required
Professional experience with development in C#.NET
SQL Server experience
Working knowledge of Classic ASP using VB6 and VB Script
Experience with both agile and waterfall development methodologies
Preferred
Experiene in an Automotive IT environment
Qualifications:
Required
3
years experience in application development
English Speaking/Writing
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related degree
Health, Safety, & Environmental
Responsibilities:
Comply with all relevant HSE legislation and local policies and procedures
Ensure that TS16949 policies and procedures are followed
