Job summary of the Systems Engineer:
We are looking for Systems Engineers with good experience in electronics industry working on hardware and software for one of our clients in Farmington, MI. In this role you will be responsible for working on CAN-based diagnosis and troubleshooting, requirements development, validation, manufacturing interface, and integration. This company works in advanced safety and ADAS technologies, with you'll be developing cutting-edge night vision systems. The group will be going through significant growth this year, and this is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor. Become a key member of an application design team for night vision systems ECU diagnostic communication (via CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.), ECU/MCU data flash programming, ECU load simulation (load box) design and creation, ECU configuration, Data analysis/review DV/PV Support with Product Requirements System Troubleshooting Test Equipment Development/Documentation Product Process Definition (Calibration Creation, Product Functions) Engineering Specification Support with Manufacturing Plant Product Training of Plant/Engineering Personnel CAN Tool Knowledge for Diagnostics/CAN Log Troubleshooting Manufacturing support of Final Tester with Product Requirements Requirements Documentation (Doors, Codebeamer) Engineering Part Verification of new Parts (BOM) or Manufacturing Process Updates Prototype Part and Tool Support for Concept/Design Validation Qualifications of the Systems Engineer:
Bachelors of Science Degree, or equivalent degree 2
years of relevant systems engineering experience in the electronics industry, automotive focus preferred Experience with CAN tools (Vector, GM proprietary, etc.), including log review, troubleshooting, etc. Knowledge of architecture modeling such as Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, other) and requirements management tools like DOORS, CodeBeamer, etc. is preferred System hardware and software knowledge through work experience Requirements writing proficiency through work experience Experience with GM Global B and cybersecurity applications is a plus Compensation of the Systems Engineer:
