Showing 1 location Job Details Description Tech Support Specialists resolve customer issues through remote connections, instructional phone calls, and/or email.
They must be willing to adjust his or her schedule as needed to cover for colleagues (the ability to work overtime when needed is a bonus).
Tech Support Specialists will quickly adapt to learning any new software and/or devices introduced through Guardian Alarm Company.
These professionals must also have a strong ability to multi-task with efficiency.
Must be a self-motivated individual who excels in working alone and not afraid to take on new tasks.

Responsibilities:
Assist customers with basic alarm instruction Support customers with phone apps for alarm systems, doorbells, CCTV, and IP cameras Aid field technicians with the programming of alarm systems and set up customer data Team with installers to set up remote apps for access, alarm, and surveillance systems Networking routers for remote viewing of CCTV systems Programming access badges for customers via remote software Updating alarm panel programming for various reasons Experience Required:
Basic alarm operation knowledge along with data entry skills preferred Handling a high volume of phone calls and/or working from a task queue required Computer knowledge pertaining to Windows and basic networking required Utilization of various software and applications for alarm communication Understanding of networking routers/modems for remote viewing of CCTV systems preferred Education Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Qualifications Skills Behaviors :
