Job Description:
The Dental Insurance Specialist is responsible for providing a welcoming and engaging environment for our patients and visitors.
The Dental Insurance Specialist will greet patients, visitors, and the public in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task and have an outgoing personality.
Essential Functions:
Greet patients, visitors, and the public in a fast-paced environment Answer incoming calls in a professional manner; provide appropriate information; follow up with patients as needed Check patients in and out; verify insurance information; record patient data into electronic medical record system Maintain clean work environment by complying with health care regulations; completing tasks as assigned; completing reports by completing required tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a dental environment preferred.
Dental terminology; Dentrix knowledge preferred.
