Responsibilities:
- File and organize legal documents, correspondence, and other materials - Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, such as contracts and pleadings - Prepare and format legal briefs, memos, and other legal documents - Conduct legal research using Lexis-Nexis or other legal databases - Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings for attorneys - Maintain attorney calendars and remind them of upcoming deadlines - Interview clients and witnesses to gather necessary information for cases - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department - Provide excellent phone etiquette and customer service to clients - Transcribe dictations and prepare accurate written transcripts - Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for the legal field and possess the required skills and qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this position.
