Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented NMLS Compliance Specialist to join our team.
As a NMLS Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization operates in full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
You will in charge of completing all state audits, all state licensing requirements and all other remaining compliance tasks.
You will be scheduling the NMLS exam and 20 hour requirements for all new employee's and working with H.
R.
to ensure all licenses are transferred for new loan officers.
Your expertise in TILA, technical accounting, financial auditing, corporate accounting, ACH, compliance management, GAAP, regulatory reporting, Bank Secrecy Act, and fair housing regulations will be essential in this role.
### Duties:
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations - Complete all state licensing audits and reviews to identify any potential compliance issues - Monitor changes in laws and regulations and update internal policies accordingly - Complete all mortgage call reports - Schedule NMLS Exam & 20 hour NMLS course for all new hires.
- Transfer NMLS licenses' for new Loan officers hired and any other task's associated with this.
- Collaborate with Loan Officers and Sales Managers on NMLS recertifications and state licensing requirements for individual loan officers.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required - Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in compliance ### Skills:
- Strong knowledge of TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and other relevant regulations - Technical accounting skills to analyze Auditing data and ensure accuracy - Experience with NMLS state auditing procedures - Familiarity with corporate accounting principles and practices - Proven track record in compliance management within the mortgage industry - Thorough understanding of all state and federal NMLS licensing and auditing requirements - Familiarity with the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering regulations - Understanding of fair housing regulations If you are a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in NMLS compliance management and possess the above skills, we encourage you to apply for this position.
