In this role, you are responsible for researching, gathering, organizing, preparing, and summarizing relevant materials for after suits are filed with the court.
The individual in this position must have considerable experience and a sophisticated understanding of managing complex legal documents.
The primary responsibilities will include leading a team of Post Suit associates and managing the filing of suits for the firm.
A successful team lead will be initiative-taking and a multitasker who works well under pressure and follows through on tasks.

Job Responsibilities Prepping/filing dismissals Communication with courts and administrators Point person for understanding Judge/Court protocol for all filings Handling Orders for Change of Venue Addressing issues with rejected filings Coordination of Process Servers and tracking attempts of service and issues with address issues/evading Review of rejected judgements from court to determine cause Balancing fees and correcting/reversing costs in CLS Overseeing the court call list for suits that require special attention Assist in the preparation and electronic filing of legal documents for court proceedings, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs, under the supervision of the attorneys.
Coordinate and manage the document collection, review, document production, and assist with E-filing when needed.
Communicate effectively with court personnel and clients to coordinate related activities.
Prepare regular status updates for attorneys/managers on the progress of matters.
Manage and organize transactional files, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Communication and Collaboration:
Act as a central point of contact between attorneys, legal secretaries, and external parties Draft, proofread, and edit legal correspondence, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards Facilitate effective communication within the legal team and ensure that information is shared promptly.
Administrative Duties:
Extensive knowledge of Client Ledger Systems (CLS), True-Filing/MI File.
Maintain organized electronic and physical legal files, ensuring efficient information retrieval Other duties as assigned The right candidate will possess the following competencies:

Job Requirements:

years of Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience, preferably with a collection law firm and knowledge in a demanding environment Minimum Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certification Ability to work accurately, meticulously, and highly productively.
PC proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe).
Eagerness to adapt and learn about evolving technology and software programs.
Ability to learn and work in multiple court web-based systems, specifically TrueFiling/Mifile.
Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and contribute to every aspect of a team environment.
