Provide software engineering support to the Software Engineering Department on specific customer software, network design, and testing; Operate electronic test equipment and diagnose circuit problems; Develop the C code for body modules, seat modules and RF modules of
vehicles
using Metrowerks C compilers for freescale micros, IAR, Cosmic, Windriver, TI and Green Hills compiler for Freescale s12, S08 and bolero processors, ST, TI, Renesas and NEC micros; Configure and integrate CAN and LIN drivers using Vector/Mentor Geny tools and Vector Candela diagnostic tools, Process CAN/LIN input and output messages; diagnostics messages, create and integrate Bootloaders for various processors, design, develop and integrate Tresos Autosar Tools, custom made CAN and LIN drivers, develop unit test and system test cases using MxVDev. Debug system using PNE, Hitop, IECUBE Debuggers, Vector CANalyzer/Canoe, Canopy simulation software.
Location: Southfield, MI
Salary: $107,000 per year.
Education: Bachelors Degree Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).
Training: None
Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Software Engineer, or in a related occupation.
Professional experience must include use of Metrowerks C compilers, Vector/Mentor Geny tools, Vector Candela diagnostics tools, Vector CANalyzer/Canoe, Bootloaders, Tresos Autosar Tools, and MxVDev.
Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or work experience.
