- Overall Experience -- 2 years of financial analyst experience, preferably in project-based company
- Education: Bachelor's degree in in Finance is the minimum formal education rqd
Summary:
For the relevant platform(s)/project(s), supports the project controller in cost accounting, and budgetary control. Appraises operating results in terms of costs, budgets, operating policies, trends and increased profit opportunities. Supports the Business Unit controller in preparation and execution of relevant financial reports, including variance analysis, yearly & monthly statement preparation, and department expense analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities

Supports the monthly financial forecasting activities of projects, includes:
- Purchase Order Tracking
- Project financial report creation
- Project invoicing and cash collection support
Supports the preparation of monthly project financial summaries on an annual and total project life basis, includes total revenues, costs, project margins, risks, opportunities, and contingencies
- Consolidates monthly project financial reporting for Business Unit Controller
- Prepares various month-end financial reports, including actual cost incurred, revenue, and profit
- Prepares monthly department spending reports, including labor efficiency and expenses.
- Support Business Unit Controller with ad hoc financial reports, internal and external audit requirements, and other special projects
- Work with project management and account management to support timely cash collections
- Promote financial awareness and accountability within the project teams
- Ensure internal policies and processes are adhered to by project teams
- Work with project management and project teams with annual budget preparation
Competencies, Knowledge & Skills:
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (advanced knowledge of Excel a plus)
- SAP experience is a plus
- Experience in project based business a plus (project accounting based on percentage of completion)
