OVERVIEW


As a Web Producer & UI Designer you'll be responsible for participating in our website relaunch process, including planning, design, development and deployment. You'll also be responsible for visual design, content integration and technical deliverables.


JOB DUTIES



  1. Develop web design visual standards and create online style guide.

  2. Implement site design and ensure sites functions as outlined in wireframes and specifications.

  3. Define and integrate content strategy.

  4. Maintain consistent functionality, appearance and accuracy of the site while addressing and fixing structural or functional issues as they arise.

  5. Ensure development priorities are achieved and web performance conforms with required standards.

  6. Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the site.

  7. Collaborate with UX Designer to devise and implement visual design of website, ensuring transference of brand's strengths and visual assets to enhance users' experience.

  8. Implement UX Designer's information architecture design and site structure.

  9. Collect, curate and organize content to integrate content strategy.

  10. Identify content areas needed and work with creative team to develop.

  11. Implement content within CMS system.

  12. Collaborate with Web Specialist and Services Developer to ensure site is integrated with existing business systems.

  13. Oversee website's ongoing maintenance and identify any necessary changes.

  14. Ensure implementation of proper SEO practices.

  15. Partner with developers to troubleshoot and address site performance issues.

  16. Other duties and special projects as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Design, OR equivalent education and experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years UI design experience

  • Minimum of 1-2 years web producer experience

  • Solid understanding of graphic design and web technologies

  • Working knowledge of web operations including publishing and technical monitoring

  • Prior experience with online development including design, content and technology

  • Well-versed in emerging web trends and developments in standards, devices, mobile

  • Experience with WordPress, Java and SQL

  • Experience with design programs and tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks, & Invision

  • Ability to create webpages with HTML/SCSS/JS/PHP

  • Solid grasp of user-centered testing methodologies, subsystems, usability and accessibility concerns

  • Multimedia skills including photography, videography and editing of digital photos and videos, a plus

  • Working knowledge of cutting-edge digital technologies

  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, time-management and process-management skills

  • Flexibility to quickly shift priorities based on business demands


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
