Programmer Analyst IV

1. Performs coding, testing, installation, and maintenance of computer programs having features including multiplicity of function, critical constraints, and elaborate input/output.
2. Develops computer program documentation and operational procedures.
3. Prepares project resource estimates, schedules, and cost analyses.
4. Provides diagnostic support to correct processing anomalies in complex computer programs.
5. Assists in the preparation of specifications and other activities requiring knowledge of programming principles and techniques.
6. Interprets requirements and perform analyses to ensure that objectives are met.
7. Assists in the training of less experienced personnel.
8. Performs other duties as required.
Required
Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
Five years of progressive experience.
Secret Clearance.
Knowledge and experience with Java and SQL.
Desired
Experience:
Experience with Python or PHP.
Developing enterprise level web applications e.g.,
J2EE/Servlets, JSF/JSP, JPA, JMS
HTML5, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, MVC
Knowledge of Node.js and SOA is desirable.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus.
Experience in .Net Technologies using Visual Studio (C#, MVC, DotNetNuke.)
General Skills:
Solid understanding of Object Oriented programming, data structures and software design patterns.
Ability to understand business drivers and processes as it relates to software development.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to work individually, and as a member of a team, on multiple projects simultaneously.
