Where the Chemistry Happens This position will be based in Southfield, MI is responsible for supporting the Finance Supervisor and Business Unit (BU) Controller Americas in all areas, with focus on monthly closing activities and financial reporting supporting North America. In this role, the focus is on business partnering and continuous improvement. The job is very analytically focused and requires close cooperation with supervisor and team. You Will Execute the monthly closing, reporting, analysis, and forecasting activities in support of the BU Finance Supervisor and the BU Controller Americas. Maintain and update forecast import files including customer lookups, volume files, and revenue/costs critical to the monthly forecast process. Participate in special projects and other duties as required. Have focus on continuous improvement in all areas. Perform cost center reporting and analysis. Provide balance sheet forecasting and actual results. Develop standard ad-hoc reporting as assigned. Create Your Own Chemistry:

What We Look for in You Bachelor s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial position that includes Excel-based data analysis and focused attention to detail. Examples of relevant

Sales price/volume/mix analysis General ledger account analysis Balance Sheet analysis and forecasting Cost center spending analysis (vs prior period, budget, trend, etc.) Cost accounting/product cost analysis Internal audit Strong hands-on computer skills; Excel expertise required, SAP highly desirable. Ability to analyze working capital KPI s such as DSO and DIV. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated planning and follow-up skills and results focus. Sound analytical skills.
